Keep your vehicle running safely with tire pressor sensor replacement.

The purpose of the tire pressure monitoring system, or TPMS, in your vehicle is to warn you that at least one or more tires are significantly under-inflated, possibly creating unsafe driving conditions. The TPMS low pressure indicator, see below, will illuminate on the dashboard in the event one or more of your tires pressures registers too low.

If your vehicle is equipped with direct TPMS, sensors inside your wheel/tire, you will need to replace these sensor every 3-4 years as that is the typical lifespan of their batteries. If your TPMS light is on, however your tire pressures read normal when manually checking your tire pressures, it is likely you have a dead sensor. These can be easily replaced dismounting the tires from your wheels, and swapping with a new sensor. Once replaced, the new sensors will need to be re-programmed to your vehicle.
